I recently had the chance to watch the Denver Broncos take on the Indianapolis Colts in their first preseason game of the year. As a huge Broncos fan, I was excited to see how the team would perform, especially with some of the new additions to the roster. In this article, I’ll be breaking down the biggest risers and fallers from the game, and what we can expect from the team moving forward.

One of the biggest surprises of the game was the performance of quarterback Bo Nix. The rookie QB had a clean game, leading four scoring drives out of five possessions. This was impressive, especially considering that the game was his first taste of NFL action. What really stood out about Nix’s performance was his ability to work within the pocket and make decisive reads. This is something that was missing from the Broncos’ offense last year, and it’s clear that Nix is already making a positive impact.

Another player who had a big game was outside linebacker Jonah Elliss. The rookie had a few big plays, including a sack and an interception. What really impressed me about Elliss was his ability to never quit on a play. He showed great athleticism and awareness, and it’s clear that he’s going to be a big part of the Broncos’ edge rotation this season.

On the other hand, running back Samaje Perine had a tough game. He struggled to catch the ball out of the backfield, and had a big fumble that led to a turnover. This was disappointing, especially considering that Perine was one of the Broncos’ top running backs last season. With the competition for roster spots heating up, Perine will need to step up his game if he wants to make the team.

Overall, I was impressed with the Broncos’ performance in their first preseason game. There are clearly some areas that the team needs to work on, but the talent and potential are there. With a few more weeks of practice and preseason games, I’m expecting big things from the Broncos this season.

As a fan, it’s exciting to see the team come together and start to gel. The energy in the stadium was electric, and it’s clear that the players are feeding off of that energy. With a few more wins under their belt, the Broncos could be unstoppable this season.

The Broncos’ next preseason game is just around the corner, and I’m expecting another big performance from the team. With a few more weeks of practice and preseason games, the Broncos will be ready to take on the regular season and make a deep run in the playoffs.
