Backstage at the Festival
The sweet “Sünden” (sins) were definitely part of the package.
What the singer of Münchener Freiheit had to take home, why Tim Bendzko’s right leg is much better trained, and what KAMRAD really enjoyed. Even on the second day of the festival, the “Krone” was heard in the backstage area.
“Ah, and I wanted to eat a Linzer Torte, but unfortunately, I didn’t find one in the backstage area,” Aron Strobel had to continue his search for the traditional “Sünde” after the 90-minute performance of Münchener Freiheit. No problem. Tim Wilhelm and his dog “Seppi” spent another night in Oberösterreich’s capital. Wilhelm had a sweet souvenir for his band colleague on the way home.

Linzer Torte
Marathon in under four hours
KAMRAD also stayed another night in the steel city. On Sunday, they’ll continue to Prague. Before that, there was a mega show. “Linz is cool, the concert was a lot of fun,” Tim was also enthusiastic about the audience.
So was his namesake Tim Bendzko. For the marathon runner, there was a portion of noodles for energy. His 90-minute performance was like a sprint. “Yes, I’m trying to run a marathon in under four hours. I recently ran one, but was injured. The result is that I still can’t walk properly. It’ll be close before my 40th birthday,” the German admits.
Claudia Jung with a big compliment to the Linzer audience.
“The best audience here”
And hopped on the Linzer “Krone” stage on one leg. “My right leg is very well trained,” Bendzko winked.
